Scrips are money.
Treat them like it.
Sell a RoDTEP or RoSCTL scrip at a firm price in 60 seconds and have the cash in minutes, or buy one to cover your customs duty for less than cash.
Duty credit is money. It leaks six ways.
RoDTEP and RoSCTL scrips are government credit you already earned. The ledger that holds them is electronic. Prices are arrived at bilaterally, one number at a time, with nothing public to read them against. Every gap in it costs the exporter who earned the credit and the importer who needs it.
Ring three brokers and you get three numbers, none of them with a reason attached, and you cannot tell a fair discount from a poor one. The spread you give away stays invisible.
With no neutral middle, one side moves first and hopes. The seller releases the scrip before the money lands, or the buyer funds before the transfer clears. That single act of faith is why most firms deal only with people they already know.
Scrips lapse quietly two years after they are created in the ledger. Every quarter, credit that took real exports to earn expires unsold in ledgers nobody was watching.
Find a buyer. Agree a number with nothing to check it against. Then work the portal yourself, step after step, one-time password after one-time password, invoice and letter behind it. Days per trade, and at the end of it somebody still has to go first and carry the risk.
A buyer cannot independently confirm a scrip's balance or status before paying, because no counterparty-facing lookup exists. Nor can they tell whether the same credit was offered to three other desks that morning.
A chat thread and a payment screenshot do not survive scrutiny. Clean title, GST-correct invoices, and a verifiable trail are what make a scrip safe to hold.
You tap once.
We move the money.
Everything after the connection happens from one workspace. No brokers to chase, no rate hunting, no OTP afternoons.
Connect once
Link your IEC a single time, with one OTP. The connection state is always visible: Connected, Action needed, or Not connected.
Scrips arrive on their own
We watch your scrolls at every port. The scroll matures, the scrip issues, and it lands in your ledger with a status: Issued, Reserved, or Transferred.
A firm offer lands
One firm number, priced for that specific scrip at the moment you ask and held firm for 60 seconds. You tap Confirm, or you let it pass.
Money in your bank
Buyer funds lock before the scrip moves. The transfer executes on ICEGATE, confirmation lands, and the payout fires in minutes, same day (T+0), with the UTR on the receipt.
Three seats at the table.
Every shipping bill becomes cash
Scrips arrive on their own, one firm offer lands and holds for sixty seconds, and the payout hits your bank in minutes, same day (T+0), with the receipt filed for your auditor.

Worked at the indicative rates on pricing: a 98.45% firm bid to the seller, 99.65% of face to a buyer covering duty. An illustration, not an offer to trade. Your own scrip is priced when you ask, against live demand on the day.
Every scrip, accounted for.
One workspace, one job: duty credit turned into cash, with proof your auditor can verify alone.
Your ledger, priced and statused
The Scrip Ledger is where every scrip lives: searchable by scrip number or scheme, opened for full detail, reconciled against live ICEGATE state.
- Status on every scrip. Issued, Reserved, or Transferred, so you always know what is sellable.
- Full detail on open. Scheme, port of issue, face value, days to expiry, and the live bid on that scrip.
- Expiry radar. Lots inside 30 days get sell-now priority before the credit lapses.
One tap, or the whole book on Autopilot
Sell Now for a single firm offer. Autopilot for every future scroll, inside guard-rails you set. Both end the same way: a payout with a UTR.
- Firm for 60 seconds. The offer is locked while you decide. The countdown is the negotiation.
- Your floor, your rules. Autopilot sells at your floor or better and never below it, whole scrips only.
- Nothing acts alone. Anything outside the guard-rails is held for your tap. Every write waits for approval.
RODT2526DL0008820: bid 96.80% is below your floor, waiting for your tap
ROSC2526MH0006612: 28 days to lapse, moved to sell-now priority
Funds and payouts, to the paisa
Buyer funds are secured before the scrip moves, released on ICEGATE confirmation, and paid out with a UTR. The books keep themselves.
- Download the audit pack. GST-clean invoice, net-realisation statement, and the hash-chained trail per trade.
- Export the full ledger to Excel when the auditor calls.
- Analytics on top. Settled value, live offers, funds held safe, and payouts by month.
Sell the credit you earn. Buy the credit you owe.
Exporters turn scrips into cash at a firm, live price. Importers cover a Bill of Entry with scrips instead of cash and keep the difference. Same ledger, same settlement, same receipt, and nothing reaches ICEGATE without your tap.
Trust, stated plainly.
Buyer funds are secured before the scrip moves, or neither moves, and they are released only after ICEGATE confirms the transfer. Failed settlements unwind and refund in full, same day.
Every scrip is screened before it trades: shipping-bill chain, IEC history, DGFT records, live ledger status. You hold clean, verified credit.
There is no rate card and no standard rate for a scrip. Yours is priced for that specific scrip, at the moment you ask, and held firm for sixty seconds. A price you can act on, not an indication to negotiate from.
Offers are firm for 60 seconds. Settlement completes in minutes, same business day (T+0). We will never tell you otherwise.
Nothing is submitted without your approval. Until you tap Approve, nothing reaches ICEGATE, and every step lands on a tamper-evident trail.
GST invoices, net-realisation statements, audit packs, and full Excel export of the ledger, whenever you want. Your data leaves with you.
Raise an issue against the exact trade, scrip or payout it is about, and it stays attached to that trade until it is resolved. Every message we send is tracked to delivery, so one that did not reach you is never shown to you as delivered.
Every trade produces a GST-correct invoice, and your invoices come out as a Tally-ready file or a GST-register row per invoice. Your accountant imports them instead of keying them in.
You link your IEC one time, with one OTP. The connection is kept warm after that, so selling a scrip months later does not start with hunting for a code.
Quote once, confirm the sale, poll for the payout.
That is the real contract, and it is a dependable one. The whole trade lifecycle over REST, with a firm quote in one call.
Every quote is one firm number for that scrip, held for sixty seconds and executable for the whole of it. No indicative numbers that melt on contact.
You are paid in full, to your own bank account, and you are not waiting on a buyer or chasing anyone. Buyer funds are secured before the scrip moves and released once the transfer confirms on ICEGATE.
Floors, whole-scrip rules, and approval gates are enforced server-side. Anything outside them is held for a human tap, never auto-submitted.
Many IECs under one account, each with its own connection and its own books. Brokers and group treasuries run every entity from one desk.
The questions every CFO asks.
Yes. RoDTEP and RoSCTL scrips are transferable by design under the Foreign Trade Policy, and every transfer executes on ICEGATE itself, the government's own rail. Title moves on ICEGATE and the seller payout is released against confirmation of that transfer.
The scrip itself is GST-exempt (HSN 4907, Notification 02/2017). Only the ScripX fee carries 18% GST, invoiced cleanly per trade. Because exempt sales touch your common-ITC math, every trade ships with a net-realisation statement covering price, ITC impact, fees, and true take-home, so your CA signs off in minutes.
Every scrip is checked against the electronic ledger before it lists: that it exists, that the balance is really there, that it has not been used or cancelled, and that it is inside its validity. The counterparty IEC is validated too. Title moves on ICEGATE, and government notifications from September 2022 shield a bona-fide transferee from a seller's prior defaults. The safe scrip to hold is a clean, verified one, and that is exactly what we screen for.
Elsewhere the transfer and the payment are separate events, and whoever moves first is unsecured until the other side follows. ScripX settles in minutes, same day (T+0). Your quote is firm for a full 60 seconds, buyer funds are secured before the scrip moves, the transfer is confirmed on ICEGATE, and the payout is released the moment that confirmation lands. If anything stalls, funds auto-return.
Nobody here reads it, and it is never exposed in the browser. There are two surfaces and they answer differently. The API rejects any credential field outright, so a partner building on ScripX cannot send us one even by mistake. Managed operation is the case where you do connect an account: those credentials are held encrypted at rest and used solely to carry out instructions you have authorised, and when you update them the stored secret is replaced rather than revealed. That mandate runs under a signed Power of Attorney you can revoke at any moment by disconnecting the account or changing the credentials, nothing is submitted without your approval, and every action taken under it is written to a hash-chained audit trail you can hand your auditor. Custody of credentials in our Terms sets out the whole position in writing.
Nothing today. ScripX is free for early adopters: zero commission, zero processing fees. The standard fee thereafter is 0.40% of face value plus GST, charged only when a trade settles. No subscriptions, no listing fees, no minimums.
Yes. Many brokers and CHAs run their book on ScripX rails through the desk and API. They keep the client relationship and earn commission, and settlement and paperwork run on us.
Talk to a human.
A question about a quote, a settlement, or the API: write to us and a real person replies, usually within a day.
- Exporters: offers, payouts, Autopilot guard-rails.
- Importers and brokers: duty cover, the desk, API access and sandbox keys.
- Anything else: we read everything that arrives.
